DA Music Meme For Writers

1. Pick a character, fandom, pairing, friendship, whatever.

2. Put on your music program on shuffle/random and start playing

songs.

3. For each song, write something inspired by the song related to

the theme you chose earlier. You only have the song length. No

pre-planning and no writing after the song is over. No skipping

songs either.

4. Do 10 songs and post. Make sure to include the song name/artist

~I literally sat there for the whole song trying to write something but came up blank and wrote nothing ~

2 Invincible - Hedley

Neil sat on the couch with Shad leaning on him.  He was thinking of his past, his life. His dad appeared in his thoughts many many times. The fact that he was alone when everything went down. The long hard road to where he was now made him tear up. He started crying. Shad looked up from the notebook he was writing lyrics in at his husband.
"Neil are you--OMG NEIL WHAT'S WRONG!?" Shad asked, shooting up from leaning on him to hugging him.
"J-Just thinking about my past. I made so many mistakes i can't even count them all." Neil replied with a quiver in his voice, then the tears took over more than he could bare.
"But you made it through it, you should feel invinsable after going through all that and living...and you didn't make ALL mistakes in your life." Shad said comforting him.
"How so? Every decision i made was a huge mistake." Neil said still crying hard. Shad showed him the ring on his finger.
"Not this one" He said with a smile adn kissed him. Neil kissed him back with a slight smile showing through the tears.

3 Perfect - Simple plan

"Neil, why do you think i was abandoned?" Shad asked walking up to his husband and looking up at him.
"Whataya mean?" Neil asked after the random question.
"Do you think because i wasn't normal? Or perfect? Or--" Shad was cut off by Neil.
"None of those. If you were abandoned it was because your parents were idiots or they were forced to but that
s only if you were abandoned, your parents may have died." Neil said taking Shad in his arms.
"I try to be perfect you know...i try to be perfect for you. I try to be the perfect husband, dad adn play-mate for Kumari but...it never seems to work..." Shad said teary eyed for some reason he didn't know.
"Shad, you are more than perfect. You have been since i met you and nothing will convince me otherwise. You are more of a father to Kumari than my dad was to me adn...and i think that's perfect ..." Neil said fighting back tears from the mentoin of his dad. Shad smiled and leaned intp the hug from Neil.
"You are perfect, Neil, so very perfect..." Shad said listening to the beating of Neil's heart.

4 Alice Human Sacrafice - Vocaloid

"NEIL!! Kumari wants a story before bed and i need to finish the laundry! So you midn reading her one?" Shad called.
"Sure..." Neil scooped up Kumari and she giggled. "Time for story time!!" He said and walked to he rroopm.
"Awice awice awice!!!" Kumari clapped as Neil pulled the Alice in Wonderland book from the shelf.
"Once upon a time there was a girl named Alice..." Neil started the story and smiled at Kumari staring intently at the book. Shad walked in the room in the middle of the story. He stood by the door and watched the two most important people in hsi life share a story. He smiles at them.
"And Alice woke up. She looked around. She was home....The end" Neil closed the book.
"No end Da-Nee!" Kumari opened the book again.
"Yes end!" Neil gigled. "Time for bed

5 World Behind My Wall - Tokio Hotel

Shad looked out the window and into the rain. He shut the blinds and sat on the couch. He opened his notebook of song lyrics and tried to finish some that were bothering him but couldn't. The song was sending him insane so he threw the book on the coffee table. He picked up a pen and paper and started writing what he wished were there. Inspiration. Cake. Neil. Neil had left on a trip for something. Shad forgot why he left. He looked at the calender. Kumari got home from Xiao and Colton's tomorrow as did Neil from his trip. Shad wandered around the house boredly. He looked at every wall.
"It seems i'm always looking at the same walls..." Me muttered to himself. "I wonder what it's liek outside of these walls..." He said and imagined the sun shining throught the rainy clouds and him adn Neil walking, with Kumari, through a feild. He thought over what he just said adn rushed to his notebook and scribbled down the last two lines of the song. He laid back on the couch and stared at the ceiling. the day seemed to go by so long waiting for Neil and Kumari.

Neil woke up and started breakfast. Shad walked out about a half hour later. His hair was askew and he was only in pajama pants hanging loosly off his hips. His eyes looked tired, as if he got only an hour of sleep in a week.
"Morning sleeping beauty." Neil giggled when he walked out. He never could imagine tha at first glance he could have falen in love with Shad if that's how he looked all the time, then he thought that he could have. Meeting Shad for the first time he saw someone reformed, well dressed and neat. Then getting to know who Shad really was he saw the lazy slob of a person Shad was on the inside. Neil smiled. Seeing it didn;t turn him away, it pulled him closer. That Shad showed him who he really was warmed his heart. Shad was a beautiful person no matter what, he thought. Neil set breakfast infront of Shad and shook him to wake him from the morning daze he was in.
"Hope ya likem it!" Neil smiled.
"Thanks..." Shad began eating and noticed Neil smiling at him. "Something up?" Shad asked following Neil's gaze back to himself.
"No...nothing's up! I just love how you look this morning!" Neil said with a smile.
"You...do...?" Shad asked taking a look at himself. "Why...?"

Neil tore out of the bedroom.
"Way to make me feel like a monster Shad! So f*ckign amazing!" He sat on the couch.
"Well sorry princess like it was my fault you freaked out at me for whateve the f*ck it was!" Shad walked to the kitchen.
"You don't even know do you!?" Neil, said annoyed.
"Since when do you have this bitter side Neil!? When i met you you were...Nice!" Shad spat.
"So now i'm mean am i!?" Neil argued.
"F*ck i'm done with this..." Shad walked to the room. Both he and Neil laid back, he on the bed and Neil on the couch, and thought about what went down. Shad sat up to see Neil in the door way.
"Sorry..." Neil said and leaned agianst the door frame.
"No need...it's ok" Shad smiles slightly.

"Put on your costume Kumari!" Neil smiled and handed the young girl infront of him a cat costume.
"Noooo Kumawie!!" She said and pushed the cat costume away. "Da-Sha!!" She pointed to the cat ears. "NO weaw!!" She said adn ran off through the house. Shad giggled.
"Maybe you should try something else" Shad siad with a smile.
"But it's already Halloween where can we get a costume at this time?" Neil asked. Sha dhanded him a princess outfit.
"Me and Kumari got this one, she loves it." Shad giggled and Neil ran after Kumari and put the princess costume on her.
"Nooooo Kumawie!!!" She screached. "Da-Nee cossssstume!!!" She said and ripped the teara off her head adn put it on Neil's head. Shad tried to hold back from laughing but couldn't.

Shad scribbled down some lyrics. Neil walked in and scooped the notebook up.
"Neil give it back!! I'm not done!!" Shad jumped up adn tried to get the notebook back but with Neil holding it above his head and his height advantage it was an automatic loss.
"I just wanna read it...please?" Neil looked at his husband.
"Fine..." Shad sat back down. Neil started flipping through the book.
"Hey hey! Just the one i'm working on!!" Shad said.
"I already read it over your shoulder...OH! I never read this one before!!" Neil said adn looked the lyrics over.
"What? What ones? What's the title! Meil give it back!!" Shad jumped up and tried to snatch the book back but Neil spun around.
"Rockstar!" Neil said loud enough it rang out through the house.
"Neil give it back it's nto that god!! Neil pleeeeease don't read that just give it back!!"
"Hey hey, I wanna read it! You wanna be famous eh?" Neil said reading the lyrics.
"I wrote those when i was really young! It's nothing Neil give it back!!" Shad kept trying to get them back but kept failing.
"They;re cute!" Neil said reading them smiling then handed th ebook back to Shad when he was done.
"I can't believe you read those...no one was meant to..." Shad said and went back to the ones he was currently on.
